2024     immersive installation + radio play

My mother spoke me into being; she told me of my own existence.

This installation framed mothers and mother-figures as the omniscient narrators of their households through the aesthetic language and spatial dynamics of theater. It imagined the home as a stage set and familial experience as a performance — one that is scripted, directed, and stage-managed by the mother.

[Viewers were encouraged to explore the onstage and offstage spaces of this exhibition, listen to a short radio play, and to interact with the suspended house sculptures.]
